More than a concert…it’s an experience that provides a glimpse into your mind and memory and how music plays an integral role for cognitive longevity. 

It will showcase one of Brite’s programs that changes lives for individuals that are beginning to experience memory loss and early onset of cognitive decline.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception with passed hors d’ouevres. 

The Science

Behind the stage on a large video screen, his performance will be accompanied by an expressive video depicting his actual brain activity while he plays. It’s a unique blend of art and science and will reveal how music plays an important role in memory and cognitive wellness as we age.

Award winning cellist Norbert Lewandowski will take the stage with a moving selection of classical and his solo performances from the New World Symphony. 

Mr.  Lewandoski holds a Master’s degree in performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music and currently resides in Charleston, SC.  Mr. Lewandowski is currently a cellist with the Pittsburgh New Music Assemble.
